The following notice has been issued by the Food Standards Agency:
Aunt Bessie’s is recalling Aunt Bessie’s Croquettes because the packs may also include potato balls that contain egg, which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product poses a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg. The affected product is only sold in Lidl.

This product may contain egg, making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.
Our advice to consumers
If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to egg, do not eat it. Instead return it to the Lidl store from where it was bought.
Action taken by the company
Aunt Bessie’s is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to Lidl for display in stores.
