Mitsubishi L200 Power Seat Recliner Lever Recall
Mitsubishi Power seat reclining motor may overheat and catch fire.
Mitsubishi is recalling some L200s because of an issue with the Power Seat Recliner Lever which can become stuck and may lead to a fire.
Due to the incorrect shape of the power seat reclining lever, the switch may get stuck. This causes the reclining motor to overheat. In the worst case, the cushion from the power seat and surrounding parts may be damaged due to heat generated from the reclining motor.
Mitsubishi is recalling the affected L200s and replacing the powered seat recliner levers and, where necessary, the adjuster assemblies.
There are 3,133 Mitsubishi L200s affected by this recall. They have VINs in the range - MMTJRKB807D001150 to MMBJRKB407D134510.
